Blue Beacon Creative, LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all people, including those with disabilities. We understand the importance of making our website accessible to everyone and are constantly working to improve the user experience for all users.

  • Conform to formal accessibility quality assurance methods.

Our commitment to accessibility is ongoing and we make improvements every time we release new code and improvements on the site. Here is a timeline of our efforts to improve accessibility on our website:

January 2022 (Version 1)

  • Created a keyboard-compatible website with skip links and descriptive alt text for images.
  • Implemented basic accessibility features to improve the user experience for people with disabilities.

April 2022 (Version 2)

  • Added ARIA roles, landmarks, and semantic HTML.
  • Improved focus management for popups to ensure smooth navigation for users.
  • Enhanced the overall structure and organization of the website to make it easier to use.

August 2022 (Version 3)

  • Made improvements to copy to ensure it is more accessible to people with disabilities.
  • Added screen reader-only descriptive text to provide additional context for users.
  • Removed images of text to improve the website’s accessibility for users with visual impairments.

October 2022 (Version 4)

  • Implemented a new version of the website that includes all of the above features.
  • Added a form to request alternative formats for information.
  • Added an accessible live chat to provide real-time support and collect feedback from users.

Upcoming Versions:

February 2023 (Version 5)

  • Updating accessibility statement and include accessibility goals and milestones.
  • Adding reduce motion settings capabilities for animations and micro-interactions
  • Add an accessibility testing suite to ensure continuous compliance with the WCAG 2.0 guidelines.
  • Introduce a comprehensive accessibility training program for all employees.

May 2023 (Version 6)

  • Enhance the accessibility of multimedia content, including video and audio
  • Improve the accessibility of forms and other user-interactive elements
  • Introduce an accessibility dashboard to monitor the website’s accessibility performance

August 2023 (Version 7)

  • Enhance the accessibility of PDFs and other documents
  • Introduce an accessibility certification program for third-party partners and suppliers
  • Improve the accessibility of our e-commerce platform to ensure seamless shopping experiences for all users
